The true value of a bluefish popper is the bubbling generated by rod work. The balance of the “bubbles,” “sound,” and “posture” is the key to catching fish. The broken head has a slim body, but the cup is made upper wide to create a strong bubbling, and the floating posture close to vertical reduces miss bites and allows operation even in situations with high footing. In addition, the edge processing on the ventral surface allows it to enter the water with reduced resistance, and it produces a natural action of grabbing bubbles and wobbling with continuous popping and long jerks. It is a model that can respond obediently to the input of the angler as well as the basic performance.
