“FLX-Flex”: A model specialized in moving lures with low pulling resistance naturally with a flexible tip and belly that provides very high lure operability.

“TRQ-Torqueful”: A model that has tenacity and power in the rod so that you can safely challenge the dream of an extra-large target, and can comfortably fight for a long time with the rod upright.

“RGD-Rigid”: A new concept model that specializes in operating lures with high pulling resistance such as poppers, minnows, and jigs, and enables range attack.

BlueSniper Boat-Casting (2025)

In recent offshore casting games, the diversification of top water plugs has progressed, and it is true that it has become easier to find clues for attacking. However, in situations where conditions are not met, such as high water temperature periods or when the upper tide is not moving, it is not uncommon for fish to not come to the surface, making it difficult to attack with top water.

In light of this situation, the new “Blue Sniper Boat Series”, which was born after a full renewal for the first time in 10 years, has a lineup of three types, “FLX-Flex”, “TRQ-Torqueful”, and “RGD-Rigid”, for a total of seven models to respond to the recent boat casting scene.

Please experience the new “Blue Sniper Boat Series”, which has been refined with a unique blank design by consolidating the experience and know-how that Yamaga Blanks has cultivated so far .

Blue Sniper Boat Static Load Comparison

The above comparison image is a comparison of the bending of the rod when a weight is quietly hung from the rod with a reel set and a static load is applied. The instantaneous repulsive force of the rod or the feeling of use when operating a lure are not expressed. Please view it as a comparison of the power and tone of the rod.

■Top: All models in the series have an angle of 40° and a static load of 3kg.
■Left side of the bottom: Models with 6 power or more have an angle of 40° and a static load of 10kg.
■Right side of the bottom: BlueSniper 81/10 TRQ has an angle of 40°, 60°, and 70° and a static load of 10kg.

●Comparing the bending of the “83/2FLX” and “74/3RGD”, which are light casting models in the PE2-3 class, the “74/3RGD”, which should have strong power, appears to bend more. This is due to the difference in the rod concept of the two models. ● This model is specialized for
the 83/2FLX’s long-distance casting performance and the natural operation of diving pencils.
The blank is designed to be flexible from the tip to the belly, and the entire rod bends deeply and greatly, allowing for a firm charge. The butt power is as strong as a No. 3 class rod, but the operability is as light as a No. 2 class rod.
●74/3RGD
This model has a large bend like the “83/2FLX”, but it has a very high response and a sharp feel that is unique to short rods. The fulcrum of the bend is set close to the hand, making it an attractive rod that allows you to easily operate the lure.
●76/4RGD・79/5RGD
In addition to being compact to handle, these models are highly versatile and specialized in lure operability. Although both models are designed with increased tension, the “76/4RGD” bends tenaciously in response to the load during a fight, reducing physical strain. Even those who are not confident in their physical strength can use it with confidence.
The “79/5RGD” is a model that has strong tension and stiffness throughout the rod, and is specialized for manual operability of pencils and poppers. It features a compact and smooth casting feel, and a direct operation feel that transmits action to the lure with light input. When you bend the rod during a fight, it exerts butt power close to that of a 6 power class.
●The 83/6FLX bends deeply and greatly as the load increases, demonstrating high tracking and tenacity. At the same time, the bending transfers to the area near the handle, reducing physical strain while allowing you to apply pressure to the fish.
●The 81/8FLX maintains the tracking ability of the entire rod, bending greatly, while strengthening its ability to handle difficult shallow points and large targets. In order to maximize the pressure of the 8 power class, the butt section has a solid core, and the feeling of use where the bending clearly stops near the butt guide is a major difference from the 83/6FLX.
●At the 40° and 60° positions, the 81/10 TRQ exerts maximum control due to its strong butt power. By maintaining this angle, you can apply strong pressure to the target, and even when the line is directly under the boat at the end of the fight, you can quickly lift it up by pumping with your body weight. In particular, it provides a “power position” that is ideal for short fights with targets that are attached to the roots, such as yellowtail amberjack and GT.
In the 70° position, the rod is erected to maximize the high breaking strength and butt recovery force. This angle is the position that makes the most of the characteristics of the torqueful model, and reduces the physical burden while always applying a constant pressure to the target. It brings a great advantage in fighting large tuna, which are expected to fight for a long time.
