This 4000 – 6000 model is designed under the Air Drive design. It has an aluminum alloy MQ (monocoque) body to hold the largest internal mechanicals square, and to protect them from water. Monocoque body frame doesn’t need spaces for screws, and it may hold oversized drive gears inside. AirDrive rotor is made of aluminum alloy to stand for high load while offering light cranking. AirDrive Bail is tough and light. AirDrive shaft system removes friction at the pinion gear, which is held by 2 ball bearings, and the main shaft is supported by a precision collar to separate from the pinion.
The drive gears are made of G1 Extra Strong Duralumin, to offer twice the life of the previous 2015 Saltiga. Tough-digi-gear has the least gearing noise while maintaining smoothness for a long time. ATD Drag system with 5 carbon washers offers smooth line release.
A mag-seal system is employed at the rotor and drive gear ends, to enlong the life. Mag-seal is a water-repellant system using magnetic oil and ring magnets, achieving both light friction and high sealing performance.
